Colossians 3:1-14

The Colossians series from Video Bible Talks is an 8-video series of talks from the Bible book of Colossians. Paul’s letter to the Colossians was written to help Christians stay clear of false teaching that says you need ‘something more’ than Jesus, and to stay close to the true message of new life that we now have in him.

In the sixth video, we look at Colossians 3 v1-14 where we are told to set our hearts and minds on things above because our old self has died with Christ. Now, by faith, we have a new life with Christ through his resurrection, and this new life means that we’re to put to death whatever belongs to our old life of sin and self and put on things that belong with the new life we now have in Jesus.
